I WE BELIEVE the whole Bible to be the written Word of God, given unto man by divine inspiration; all teaching in regard to God and religion must conform to Scripture or be rejected as False. II Tim 3:16-17

II WE BELIEVE God to be the Creator of all things and Master of all, who is omnipotent, Omniscient and omnipresent, and whose nature consists of holiness and love; and we believe God the father to be the first person of the Trinity (the Trinity being the threefold manifestation of the one God). III WE BELIEVE Jesus Christ to be the Son of God who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified on a cross to be the propitiation for the sins of the world, was raised from the dead in a bodily resurrection, and ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of God. We believe Jesus Christ to be the second person of the Trinity, Himself in fact, being God. Lk 22:70 Matt 1:18 Rom 3:24-25 Eph 1:20 Jn 1:1

IV WE BELIEVE the Holy Spirit to be the third person of the Trinity, Himself also being God; who is sent into the earth to empower, lead, teach and help believers, and to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Jn 14:16, 26 Acts 1:8 Jn 16:7-8

V WE BELIEVE man to be created in the image of God, but all men have sinned, thus incurring physical and spiritual death; yet through salvation in Jesus Christ man can be restored to a place of fellowship with God. This is accomplished as the spirit of man is born again by the Holy Spirit of God. Gen 1:27 Rom 3:23 Rom 6:23 Rom 5:1 Jn 3:3

VI WE BELIEVE salvation to be the gift of God found only in Jesus Christ through His blood, and it is obtained by faith alone apart from works. Rom 6:23 Acts 4:12 Eph 2:8-9 Rom 3:28

VII WE BELIEVE repentance is necessary in the work of salvation; if any man believes himself to be saved yet lives an unrepentant life he is deceived. Lk 13:3 Acts 2:38 Heb 12:14

VIII WE BELIEVE water baptism is a requirement for all who would obey the command of Jesus; baptism is only for those who have come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We believe that New Testament water baptism is by immersion. Matt 28:19 Acts 8:35-38 Rom 6:1-7

IX WE BELIEVE the baptism in the Holy Spirit to be an experience subsequent to salvation. We believe that being filled with the Holy Spirit empowers the believer to live a sanctified and victorious life and witness effectively for Jesus. We believe that the fruit of the Spirit should be manifested in the character of the believer and that the gifts of the Spirit should be manifested in the Church. X WE BELIEVE the Church of Jesus Christ is comprised of all believers and is God’s agency for accomplishing His will on earth; and every believer should be committed to a local church. Eph 1:22-23 Matt 16:18 Heb 10:25
XI WE BELIEVE heaven and hell to be literal, physical and eternal; heaven is reserved for the believers, while hell is the righteous judgment of God upon all who reject Jesus Christ. Jn 14:2-3 Rev 21:1-4 Matt 10:28 Lk 16:23 Matt 25:31-46 Rev 20:15

XII WE BELIEVE the return of Jesus Christ to be literal and physical. We believe the church will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air and that Jesus will also return at the end of this age to judge the living and the dead. II Tim 4:1 I Thess 4:16-17
